The New Battle System is relies heavily on how close and how far you are away from your opponent. You start on a 50 Foot Battle Field (15.24 Meters). You and your opponent start a certain distance away from each other. (15 Feet/4.572 Meters). Each turn you have a movement move which you can RP (Optional) that will move you closer to your opponent. Battle Chips and your attacks also have a certain Range.
For swords it is a foot minimum (1 foot/.3048 Meters) and four feet maximum (4 feet/1.123 Meters). Ranged weapons have a range of anywhere from three feet (3 feet/.9144 Meters) to 35 feet. (35 feet/10.67 Meters.) Below I have an Example of an Attack and Battle Chip...
Fire Cross - Fire Element 80 Damage Sends a blast of Holy fire toward the Enemy! Range: 10 Feet (3.048 Meters)
Sword - Sword Element 80 Damage Slashes enemy with a sharp sword Range: 21/2 feet (.762 Meters)
Because the battle system is based on a System of Measure we can get really creative with Attacks, Chips, Panel Effects, and even things such as obstacles and traps. If you have any Suggestions or protests to this idea please speak now. Any additional info is appreciated. ^_^

Just one question: How far can you move, in a single turn? 0.o

It depends, If I get to use this System. I would like to incorperate it into the Template so it can be different for each navi. But seeing as the battle field is 50 feet. I would say 10 feet is your Average and your Maximum is about 20 feet.

Okay, another question:
At what point during your turn do you move?
If you move on your defensive phase*, and a Navi moves 10 Ft on average, than would swords be nearly useless, as they only reach up to 4 Ft? 0.o
* I refer 'Defensive Phase' as a period in the fight, in which your movement's purpose is to avoid an opponent's attacks.

You move 2 times to attack in your turn and twice to dodge attacks. You have to rember some attacks have incredibly large range as well and cannot be dodged so easily. =p

Told you my feedback. It's good, but the lack of members make it pointless to use. >_>

Boy, aren't we encouraging? XD
Anyway, it's better to have a battle system BEFORE having alott'a members, IMO, cause it's mainly what will ATTRACT other members >>.... It is a very unique battle system, though. Nice job ^^

But yeah, any ideal set time when you enforce this new system if it does get enforced?

After the RP where in is done. That way I don't have to change everything mid way through.
